Electronic Umbrella - at Stenchival 10

I organised an electronic gig featuring bands that had grown out of the Quadelectronic events - Triax, Synchropha, and 3 I played in Qwire, Bridge,  & Memory Wire. It was at the Fabrika - the arts Organisation. 4 players had to drop out which was a shame tho it made it easier to set up. Had a nightmare tho plumbing things to the PA via my mixer as everything distorted and with 30mins to go we had to abandon that plan and DI everyone from scratch and monitor level them.
Very small crowd. A lot of good sounds tho - the Qwire (improv choir with electronics) had it;s maiden proper outing - first routed thru Jim Tetlows efects and then theu mine before we all used our own mics and effects.

It all went well tho it being the 4th gig in 4 days I was a little too tired to be really THERE.
Healthwise despite rough night I improved greatly thru really relaxing in the day.

Monday Tuesday

Monday - at last a few days to relax - no gigs til Thurs. Did some chores in the day - buying tyres and MOTing but chilled the rest of the time and felt better for it.

Tuesday
A very odd day - I woke feeling pretty bad - a return of the pains I had on and off for a while - made docs appointments for next day etc. Then - had shower, chilled out working on my website and other nerdy things and SUDDENLY felt better than i had done for weeks - pains gone, energy back. Maybe antibiotics have finally got this thing on the run. Here's hoping. Was able to think and took some calls - a gig and 2 recording days sorted. Even moved some more boxes over from odl house in the evening - I so hope I;m on the mend. I think rest really seems to suit me right now. Trying to fight this thing off while heavy gigging and house-move stuff just wasn't gonna work. Gigs are lighter now - just 1 or 2 a week for rest of Aug.
