Quadelectronic 26
Jul. 29th, 2010 12:29 pmAfter some quiet times in it felt good to get out and do some electronics - earlier in the day Jim Tetlow and I did lunch at Salvador Deli.
QE26 was unusual - we had 9 players but for the first time in years - all male. Different sounds this time too - QE25 had been quite rhythmic as we'd had 2-3 drummers. This time every piece felt like space music and quite electronic - like from Forbidden Planet (movie not the musical).
Unfortunately soemthing I ate (i think oldish corn on the cob) really disagreed with me and stomach cramps kept kicking at me - I rode it out and felt good by the end. Had 1 or 2 good theremin flights and a totally wild nonette ending. Everyone just laughing agt the end.
