Wedding jazz gig & stuff

Curious wedding trio gig with Andy the Sax & Andy the Guitar. Old money, horsey people. Alas the weather was against them meaning on a chilly night we were playing in an unheated marquee on and off for 5 hours. The adjoiing house wasnt much better for heat. By 10.30 we froze. We were mostly background apart from the first (and last) dance which finished the night. Easy apart from the temperature, - I even played some new numbers I hadn't played before.

Went to see chums band Rondo - excellent blues and rock covers in one of the last gigs ever at the Phoenix Arts Centre - good to see some folks not seen for a while. Otherwise there were chores to do and get ready for the arrival of my brother and nephew who are coming to stay this week from Spain.

Mine & Lewellyn's CD Celtic Reiki is a finalist for a new age award COVR Visionary award. Cool.
