Swan @ Braybrooke / new synth
Apr. 8th, 2009 01:15 amFelt better today - better nights sleep - still didnlt do loads by day but did better on the tasks from list business. Had a good guitar/songs workout and downbloaded lots of lyrics for cover songs I nearly know.
Then got the call the new synth I ordered was in. It;s a Korg M50 73 key. Very light and plasticy - only 8kg for a 73 key synth. Mostly as replacement studio workhorse but possibly for posher gigs - better treat it gentle tho on the road. Mostly manuals and programming next, but luckily the architecture is close enough to my old Triton not to baffle too much tho.
No time to play it as I had duo gig with Adele the Fiddle at the Swan in Braybrooke (where 30s fimstar Graham Moffatt used to be landlord) . Had to nail my song set with Govannen tunes set. Then muzo chums Vikki Clayton, Jez Luton, John Monty & Martin the Guitar turned up. Vikki sang a couple of songs with me with me. Nice crowd - had a fun time - sold 3 albums Just Be Real, Sniff the Pony, Water is Wide.
