Nov. 12th, 2008 11:48 amA couple of tracks took some remixing, but by the mid-arvo the job was done, Copies burned and sent to label and artist. They'd better like it.
Had crunching headache all day so wasn't much good for much else.
I did go and have a look a the new Korg M50 synth at the music shop. It is a cut down Korg M3 which I;d hankered after, with all the same sounds, a few less functions and in a light plasticy box - and 700quid cheaper. - hence the interest. I was slightly disappointed to see one of the switch lights had broken on the display model, not augering well for reliability. It is light tho, so much so I'd be tempted by the 6octave model as I'm often a bit restricted by 5. Only 8.5kg for the 73.
Been enjoying leafing thru Edie Cantor's book - The Way I See It - his ramblings about life in general full of upbeat philosophies in his peppy style. One thing made me laugh, the book written in 1959 - "In 45years will anyone really remember what a "beatnik" was?"
Lungs are still rubbish. They donlt improve soon I;m heading for antibiotics land.
I;ve decided today is going to be a ME day - not sure what that;s going to entail - lunch in a cafe maybe, theremining maybe.
