Smiths @ Bourne

I was hoping the jazz gig at Bourne with Dave the Sax would be background coz of my cold but unfortunately it was more performance so had to sing every number and with the longis drive I was home at 1am. My voice held up but I'm a bit croaky today.
Takin it easy today.

EDIT - evening

The cold pretty much wrote off the day as fevers came and went. Hopefully today will see the worst of it.

I watched DVD Tight Spot (1955 Ginger Rodgers & Edward G Robinson) - Stagey film noir with both leads playing against type. Quite gripping, if wordy.
In the evening as I wasnlt up to much else I watched another DVD Signs (2002 Mel Gibson sci-fi) which was totally dumb and with totaly unbelievable characters, dialogue, and situations. Pretty camera work but pointlessly and annoyingly so. Ultimately just dumb.

France the Harper comes tomorrow for 2 full days recording.
