unclechristo: (theremin - in the zone)
Been really tired the last few days, especially today.

Quadelectronic 5 was the best yet - 12 players came - I kept order - I decided to break things up into random trios and quartets and put time limits on the improv - I bought a clock so folks could see the time. It all ran soooo smoothly and the variety of combinations of players was fantastic. We had one 15min blowout with everyone playing at the end - one of the maddest sounds I;ve ever heard - it sounded a bit like the sonic version of being in an elevator plunging down a the elevator shaft and never hitting the bottom.

Those who playered were - Self (theremin, flutes etc), Steve Freeman (electronics & bowed things), Alan Freeman (Korg analogue synth & electronics), Simon Strangeguitar (strange guitar), Shekhar Raj Dhain (Moog Voyager synth),  Victoria Bourne (vocals), Carol Leeming (vocals), Walt Shaw (contact mic & things), Simon Ferraby (acoustic guitar), Jim Tetlow (laptop), Amit Patel (turntable & fx), Dylan (circuit bending)

The music all through was excellent - it really energised me - I am sooo shattered now though...

Bridget the Voice is coming over tomorrow to do some recording....

Better get some sleeeeeeep...
