Weyfest

Saturdays' Weyfest stayed clear...until Dan & I took to the stage and the heavens opened. Thanks so much to the considerable numbers of folks who stayed with us and even danced in the deluge. It was great to reconnect with so many old chums from Cropredy type days and see our A New Day Records crowd and it was flattering to be recognised a few times - thats one of the nice things about doing the same festival for many years.  Dan & I did a safe set and joined Vikki Clayton halways through hers - aesomely the crowd grew and grew despite the rain so the vibe was good.  We then beat a hasty retreat in the rain home...Was quite fun traveling with Dan again - we donlt tend to do that much these days - and spin some new disks on the way.
We sold one Just Be Real CD and I gave a few Songs for Dreamers to loyal wet fans. One mum said her son loved the Alien Salad Abduction Song so much he to it to school and his class all dressed up in vegetable costumes and danced to it. Bless him I gave him a Live CD  for persistanbt dancing int he rain and I saw him clutching it like treasure an hour later.

Sunday went up to Sheffield for meal with G's family.

Started my project to put one track (or excerpt) from each of my albums on Reverbnation. 8 tracks done so far.

Things to do this week.
1. Set up new house phones (7 chapters of manual!)
2. finish accounts
3. start programming harmonizer - need it next week
4. more promo work for Songs for Dreamers, Chocolate Bossa, Yttrium, and song gigs..
5. sort dates/travel and book Stockhausen tickets for Nov
6. work on some theremin, Forest and Indian recording projects.
7. sleep
