Tuesday
Walsall gig with Dan Britton was fine - nice new venue - not many there but we chilled - I even played my new song for the first time. I sold 2 Close the Circle CDs and 1 Songs For Dreamers CD
setlist
set 1 - Carousell, Bad Things for Love, Lifespell, Song for Eric, Time to Talk, Return of Crazy Horse, I Want Something, Wish
set 2 - Ride On, Train of Thought, Season of the Witch/What's That Sound, I Have Seen The Future, Deja Blues, The Snow & The Fire, Alien Jellyfish Song

Wednesday
In the day - more mixing of the Contiuum recordings. In the evening - another Cactus Cafe gig - nightmare - I got to the Cafe and found I had the wrong mains lead for the piano - I had my almost identical lead from my new korg x50. Had to drive back for it. Everyone was cool about it but I hate that kind of thing happening. Designed new poster for Quadelectronic 2 event. Uploaded new photos

Thursday
Got lots done - I have had this big list this week with 25 things on it - working my way thru pretty well. Mixing of Continuum music is done - or I am done with it anyway. There will be 2 albums "Yttrium" and "The Tide of Faces" - artwork next. Today I also finished the artwork of a new Govannen album - "Live - Sniff the Pony" - I'll show the band at tomorrows gig. Sold a Dan CD online so posted that and generally did little chores to dull to relate. Feels like a lot of work has just been put behind me.

DVDwise I watched The Man Who Knew Too Much - the original 1934 early Hitchcock with Peter Lorre - OK but pretty starchy. I rewatched A Mighty Wind in installments - nice film. I must catch up on C Guests films.

Picked up a really nice CD from 2005 from Lesley Gore - Ever Since. Great new songs - some written by her - great production. Nice intimate jazz/singer-songwriter feel - her (now husky) voice is great at 60. Someone's put a whole song on youtube - not the best one but gives an idea. Looks like she's still touring -  Here she is back in the early 60s . Maybe I Know - was my fave song she sang in the day.

Bookwise I finished Ray Bradbury's - A Small Assasin - stories  probably my least fave collection I have read by him - they were all creepy tales - I prefer the variety of his other compilations. Short storywise I went on to John Varley's Persistance of Vision - so far excellent. Novelwise I am still enjoying William Gibson's Idoru.
