tired today - slowly did chores - bank, post office, CD order filling, car insurance renewal, correspondance.
In evening booked tickets to see Brian Wilson in Sept ! I saw him a few years ago great band and music and harmonies. he has a pretty nbew song on his website - http://www.brianwilson.com/
been roaming youtube looking at bands and genres I don't know much about
one curiosity I found is Chubby Checker singing a nice AOR rock song in the 80s - I like seeing artists work outside their usual genre
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poEgGqHadA8
looked up a band I saw late on TV - Dragon Force - heavy speed metal band hectic rediculously fast guitar work and drumming - kinda mad fun. guitar duel near the end is funny -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3M2X4ZAH_w
an Indian heavy band Parikrama - an odd looking band - quite a fun sound
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2BlsELPTn8
Dutch band Within Temptation - symphonic gothish band with female vocalist - nice folky twist to this one (I imagine for some reason
tattercoats might like this - I think my friend Llewellyn would like the 1st video too)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdZ8uG_RbSc
their videos are very dramatic

Interesting but not sure if an albums worth would drive you nuts. They have lots of vids on youtube
there's a lot of stuff out there...
they kinda reminded me in a way of a heavy version of & 70s band Renaissance - their hit was Northern Lights - Annie Haslam was a voice of the time - her 1st solo album produced by Roy Wood is a gem - which made me look them up - found some fun ones
70s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdvyoMaqyIk
80s - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsLBM0Uudx4
and a nice acoustic 70s one
