went to bank - sall cheque in, big cash out for electrician and mechanic.
glands better, lungs still a bit wheezy
Did a food shop.
Other than that it was recording - I was pleasantly surproised coz i stayed up waaay too late last night ona piano piece and a jazz song. and figured the lateness might've made the music suffer a bit.
Needed remixes and stuff and neither remix has got it but we are moving on and it's good to be doing stuff.
Got a nice CD I ordered for my birthday - more songs by the mighty Randazzo/Weinstein team - (Think I'm Going Out of My Head was their big song.) - this time sung by girl group The Royallettes - tantalizing bootleg inc 5 songs from each of thier 2 albums (full albums on CD only available fiendish prices from Japan) plus other fillers from early daze - coupled with similar 14 tracks from the non-Randazzo produced Velvettes.
I'm in schlock heaven - just makes me hanker for the whole albums. I love Randazzo's songs and production and he was white hot in 65/66. He's like an alternate universe Bert Bacharach but with more melancholic lyrics/titles.
Also got a electronic space music CD gift from fellow electromusicman Kevin Kendle - the least one he sent me was really great. Look forward to giving it proper time but the Royallettes have got my heart now.
Acoustic songs mini-gig tomorrow - what a novelty - better remember how to play the guitar.
