informed designer and label of error I saw on the CD cover only on VGA monitors - oddly no-one with flat screens could see it - rang manufacturers - their designer with the big screen could see the fault - whether that fault would print OK or not no-one could say - no time for proof - designer will resubmit probably. I either saved the day or was a pain to the designer...

Carried on with Yoga track 2 - added electric 9string guitar, and 2 passes with vocal thru harmonizer - nice. Mixed & mastered it several times.
Remixed 1st track - added tin whistle, remastered it.

oh yeah - and a gig came in with Dan this Thurs - in a gigless week - when does that ever happen.

Bang went the day. Now a Monkey episode to unwind b4 bed.

Annoying day
Those 2 new age tracks took another few mixings/masterings - did it in the end but it took longer than i thought.

Then it was hard to change my brain to jazz songs which had been the plan for the day. Eventually I put some potatoes in the oven and planned to record some guitar over a bass track estimating an hour.

I found 30mins later that the oven had been accidentally turned off by a housemate. I recalculated dinner and recording and began again.
- 45mins later, guitar in tune and set to go, the electrician arrived to plumb in new electrics meaning we had to turn off the oven to move it.

Ate slightly undercooked baked spud, and lodgers leftovers accompanied by heavy drilling rather than chilling TV as I'd planned.

After dinner I sat myself down tuned guitar to start again when the electrician had to turn of all electricity in the house including my recording device.

I strummed my guitar awhile to rehearse for tomorrows gig
Dan then called and told me tomorrows gig is now cancelled.

Recording - One - more - time
- I started to record again only to find that my ailing headphones had given up the ghost - they cut out several times during the track so i couldn't keep time. i decided to give up.

Had bath and was hoping for relaxing reading and chilling out - but was beset by lyric writing brainstorm - nice as I haven't written words in ages but..not relaxing.

Felt better tho - and decided to give up on music, got some salty popcorn, a drink, some confection and I'm gonna watcha movie...
