today I installed the new toy - Atmosphere - after a few install hiccups it went OK. Soooo many spacey noises and pads. Kinda frustrating tho auditioning 1000s of sounds - fun to hear them but it's not really making music. The machine is quite ituitive. The only way for me to learn will be to record with it. Still learning too about virtual instruments etc

singer songwriter pal Dave Kirk came round and I helped him with webstuff and mastered an instrumntal compilation for him.

Really tired today - early night methinks - 2 gigs ina row coming up.

Had an odd dream last night set at a filk convention. vaurien and talis were in the loo with sick children unfortunately. I heard katyh sing in a circle but niftiest thing of all was a facilty/gift that aunty_marion had whereby she had a screen in thin air over her head, switchable on/off and adjustable by her making sign-language type genstures with her hands. On this screen were announcements (missing children, instruments for sale, and song lyrics... ) - very cool...
