Oct. 21st, 2004 12:49 amtoday was totally dedicated to the mastering of Jackie Leven 's CD with novelist John Rankine.(oops - correction - it's Ian Rankin) Mostly live from a show at the Queen's Hall, then some new studio stuff, then some greatest hits from previous CDs - quite a lot to balance there...
One of the most concentrated days of work in quite a while - the main work is done now - I'm awaiting track codes from the record company tomorrow, then package it up - I didn't realise this was gonna be such a posh album (otherwise I'd've charged more :-) ) Quite a resposibility remastering someone's greatest hits - I did it once before for Sally Barker I recall.
