May. 29th, 2004 12:46 amOK so with yesterday celebrations involving my first alcohol ina while and a 3.30am bedtime today was gonna be a right-off.
Final final listen thru to Healing Drums revealed 10 clicks on one track I'd never noticed before - thank goodness for Cooledit de-clicker... So - one more time I made some copies - and posted them out.
Fed E's cats. Later Andy G came round with his new album - sounds good.
In the evening I was all in but wanted to go out and see old pal of mine Davy Everitt's band. I cranked up some Flower Kings CDs and that got me moving enough to make it out of the house.
They were good - 7piece folk-rock dog-on-a-rope hippy thing. Sound was a bit rough tho. Good ta see the man do his thing. Everyone I talked to seemed to be ina strange mood.
Looked into price of flights to New York, then Pittsburgh - I was surprised - quite expensive - 500pounds NY return and 135 for NY - Pittsburgh return. I guess it is July... ho hum...
Edinburgh flight was 3pounds when I last looked... (plus taxes..)
