today my 2 CDs I got from ebay arrived by the band War - good stuf but summer music really and not suiting a grey spring day - a cross between Malo & Osibisa.

I set to work mastering the Planet Scanners recording from last night - good stuff - if we record a few miniature pieces at home then we have an album I think... I really like this combination of my electronics & treated flutes & harmonized voice with Mick's electric violin & Fitz's percussion. Must set some more gigs up

I also edited the photos that Tonya took for me from last night...some fun ones...

Then it was time to eat and go to restaurant and play - for a change I took my guitar too - tired now - think I need a DVD b4 bed...

Slightly annoying day - was gonna meet up with K48 today but she went out elsewhere instead but couldn't be raised by phone so I didn't know whether to make new plans or not until later in the afternoon when it felt too late to do so.

So I just chuntered on at home...
Did some more mastering of the Planet Scanners recording
Started a mastering jo from cassette to CD for Jackie Leven and found to my annoyance that one off the spools on my tape deck had broken off - DOH! - oly had it for a year & a half - and a TEAC at that! - so had to go from bedroom cassette player to minidisk - don;t know if that'll be OK. So - do I buy a new cassette player - I never use it thesedays...except when I need it...

did some website stuff, made some soundclips of the jazz songs CD, etc etc etc

gotta stop now -watch a movie - I realise I am tired - 4 gigs and a Jefferson Starship concert is a busy week really -

Was very amused by silly movie on TV last night - Mystery Science Theatre 3000 - silly man & Beavis & Butthead-like robots watching and making stupid remarks on the movie This Island Earth - donlt know why but it hit my funnybone - just what I needed...

PS. 01.35am - I watched a Capra DVD - wonderful - he can always lift my mood - one of my faves - You Can't Take It With You.
