did some more piano recording having a bit more direction from Ll.

Then had enough and went out to get case for camrea, and guitar stand cos I lost mine - at 16Tones I think.

Went to Ultima Thule record shop - they neow have my Contact Light CD out, plus they gabve me a copy of the dronz compilation CD I have a track on.
They also wanna release the last electronic night complete... - cool.
Makes me wanna make more elecronic sounds.

Dropped in on Ellie & Evie who i haven't seen in ages - messed about with camera there - realise I need to look at the manual at least once more... Was good to see them.

Made quick dinner on return - veggibangers & spaggetti & greens. Couldn't get warm - hot bath & book helped give me a reboot and I recorded more piano and when fed-up of piano I recorded some electric 9string guitar & whistle for Llewellyn & Juliana - did my Terje Rypdal impersonation again - haven't doen that in ages...fun.


Better simmer down now and hit the hay :-)

Polished some of the stuff I recorded for Ll and sent it off down the wire. Unfortunately he has AOL which chose 2day to return all emails i send him - had to work via clunky Yahoomail. Tried ringing ISPs help but no-one knew much other than AOL do that if they think you're a spammer (?)

Lu came round - hadn't seen her in ages - was good to see her - we listened thru to my piano recordings which she genuinely liked - must admit they sounded better than I remembered.
53mins piano music recorded if they are all keepies - i might have a little magical improvisation in my b4 piano broken down for 2morrow's gig. Tempted not to overdub anything - keep it a piano solo album - chatted with Ll about it. - do the multi-instrumentalness on another album.

Treated self to veggieburger , salad, & chips from Cypriot place. Didn't do much in evening - I WILL watch a DVD.

The Nancy Kress book is annoying me. Trying-to-be-too-clever writing, bad explaining-the-world-to-the-reader dialogue, annoying "colloquial" speak. Descriptions that read pretty but are ungenuine...eg "she smelled of apples"
pauses - to read some more..... - nope - giving up . Haven't given up ona book in a while... - shame - nice ideas - just a writing style that's not to my taste. - will move on to Bruce Sterling - Distraction - I read one of his b4 - it was OK.

Feeling kinda calm - tired (late night last night) - but mind is quite expansive - big music required, big movie too maybe - or not...

PS - the Stirling is a relief already. Also my ebook - Fritz Leiber - Green Millenium is very jolly. Bit late for Big m,ovie so maybe a Charlie Chan
