was tired today. Finished my ebbok 90 Percentof Everything by John Kessel, JP Kelly a.o. - a fun novella

Lu came round and was tired too so we just hung out and listened to music.

When she went sorted and posted a CDr of the DVD music, and a CDr of the jazz stuff for Ithamara Koorax in Brazil who I thought might enjoy it.
Then I copied 4 copies of the funky jazz gig onto CDrs for the other guys in the band - then in evening I went to the O4 bar to give them out at the Freestyle Session - I hadn't been out for a while so it was good to interact. The main guest was a vibes player - mostly freeform stuff - lots of fresstylers on the mikes - lots of rappers - I did find a moment and did a little I Want Something then scatted. Went down well - was good for my confidence for somereason. I was happy I think coz my voice cut thru

Saw a lass I have occasionally seen around bar life in town who is leaving town to live in Ireland - a shame as she is fun to chat to - she studied sci-fi and horro films at college - when I went to college we couldn't do interesting stuff. I hope she finds what she's looking for.

what a wuss I am - 1one and half pints of the weakest lager and a late night last night and today I'm a tired wreck. I haate how it makes the world grey the next day and erases inspiration...

well some things got done - lots of phone stuff, some gigs were sorted and a recording session planned with percussionist, and some thoughts about he New Age fest on Sunday were had.

Catch-up chat was had on the phone with Ellie - I'll be cat feeding for her next week.

Did some more camera research and sent letter of complaint to the hotel for the theft of mine as oreouk suggested, and did some other beaurocrasy and filing. Wavering to Sony for cameras but one can get too much into reviews really - given I'ma gig snapper almost any good make will be fine...so it's down to dinkyness versus worthyness.

Looked at fictionwise.com for more ebooks - too much to choose from....can't decide...

Tonight I have allocated to
1. learning and making notes on Ll's songs for Sunday's gig, 2. working out how to get there (MK)
3. and sorting out my old piano tapes to listen to for tunes to choose for the piano recording on Thurs next - -
4. might make a rough cover art for the funky jazz CDr which the Freestyle guys gave me permission to do what I want with
5. do some website work
6. then if time watch a lite movie like a Charlie Chan,
7. early book and bed and pretend today didn;t happen.
