sloooow day working the live recordings up. Finally finished mastering the electronic stuff. The funky jazz gig is proving time consuming as it needs at least 10 transforms aver the whole gig to make it OK - then individual tracks will need tweaking - hope something more than a momento can be made of it...
Of course these transforms slow the old computer for browsing and keeping self amused whilst the transforms happen...

Gonna stop soon for 2night and watch a DVD coz if I don;t I'll go on thru til 3am and go to bed all strung out.

Despite recent reclusiveness (barring gigs) I've actually I've been quite happy at home - always a good sign that all is well ...

PS 1.50am - of course I carried - wanted to get to the end of phase 1 on the live jazz mastering. Thanks to listening to Martha Reeves & the Vandellas & the best of the Friends Of Distinction my spirits were kept jolly.
But now - bedtime!!! Time to turn off that feckin screen!!!!No more 79, ...80,... 81...etc...% complete transform status bars....

(no subject)

Some days you just have to write off. I think all the working late and going to bed waaaay too late has fried my brain. Did some website work this morning, then I went to the Ultima Thule shop to drop off the finished masterings of the electronic gig to the Endgame - listened to the whole 60mins piece in the shop which was interesting/good.
Then suddenly came over all tired and cold and odd so came home had hot bath/book and fell asleep for an hour - waking feeling totally disoriented, - made quick dinner and slooooowly am back OK in my head.
Shame as I don;t usually have Sat eve off, that i haven't gone out and seen people but everyone on the phone is also in a hibernatory mood so i really really will watch a DVD (all the times this week I said I would I haven't but have just ploughed on thru working) - I REALLY will watch a DVD (Groucho Marx & Carmen Miranda still unwatched) adn THEN get to bed at a decent time...
