(no subject)

Phew - last gig for a whle - it's like beaking up from school - because of parties I had to play longer - 3 and a half hours - still I dug in and got into it.

I decided to get some more Ithamara Koorax and on visiting the Amazon store was shocked and appalled to find that she has released a CD with a very saucy cover

Whilst I was so shocked I accidentally got out my credit card and ordered it. Ooops. I will cover it in brown paper when it arrives. Honestly I will.
I also ordered the new CD by the Dramatics coz it really sounds good.

Seriously tho - its an odd cover - I wonder why a talented singer decides - "Right - on my next album I'll have a picture of me holding my boobies! That''ll be great"
I remember thinking the same when Buffy Sainte-Marie flashed on a cover of an album. She's well enough known and respected not to have to do that. I aint prudish - just trying to understand the thinking. Perhaps it never gets beyond "Sex Sells"
Maybe that's why I dont sell very well :-)

5 out of the 6 CD I had for sale on ebay sold - for a total of 42 pounds!! Madness!! makes me feel better about my binge at Amazon.

Anyhow - looking forward to a lazy day tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow...
