I sent press release and promo copies of the CD to Time Out magazine
Dealt with my ebay sales - I sold the Brian Wilson bootleg and at went for £30 ! - a solstice CD went for £6 too. sold a couple others too.
Won some ebay stuff very cheap too - a coupla bucks each fro a Jesse Colin Young and a Brian Wilson.
Roger Pugh came round with pay for yesterdays gig with his 2yr old Sammy - boy is he a handful...
Did a emailshot for the Leicester gig.
Had to geta new CD player - got talked into a more expensive one by the oily kid serving at the hi-fi store - £99 - yikes - still I had the old one 10 years and I only got it 2ndhand then - and I do listen dawn til dusk.
Cant really tellmuch difference in the sound for all that apart from the new one doesn't skip.
Long calls from Ellie (Evie is sick) and Kate48.
I still can't get hold of Saraji - it's been months now - I must call round tomorrow - maybe her phone is dead. I do worry.
Stayed in and stewed to junk TV. The guys in the house are in at the shack in the woods - love'em to bits but its sometimes fun haveing the house to yourself.
Didn't really get to where I wanted in my head - shoulda watched a DVD lit incense and candles and stuff -
DVD-wise I'm saving up Contact which i bought cheap. I have a lesbian pal who's nuts over Jodi Foster so was gonna watch it with her.
I also have the Big Sleep to watch - and there's always Lexx.
Still sometimes ya hafta zone out and I am gigging 3 days in a row.
Sib just emailed which cheered me out of my dead head.
Now to get some quality into my head its book, CD and bed. Both books are real winners (still one the same ones) - been reading less lately - i need it like i need food. Must'nt let it slip.
Thanks for all the kind responses to my Iraq rant by the way - nice to know it wasn't just me that thought the world has gone mad. Gonna litmit catching quite so much news for a while as its winding me up and there aint a thing I can do about it all.
