Sep. 8th, 2002 06:18 pmWow - I slept 10hours and still couldn't wake up - I dozed listening to the Archers then slept as the cricket commentary came on - which caused some odd dreams about the commentators...
Got up, and read but every time I closed my eyes I drifted off to dreamland - it was like switching on the TV.
To shake myself out of it I went for a stroll and remembered there was a huge pop concert happening in a park a few blocks from my house.
Never seen the park soo full - 100,000 poeple they say. I saw/heard Supergrass (very good - a bit like the Who), Holly Valance (going thru the motions miming her hit.) and Alicia Keys who was very good indeed, as I expected she would be.
Met with Shiela Moseley (folky frriend) and the guys from the Black Cat bookshop. Returned home and flopped again. Luckily S & C in the house had leftovers to eat as I didn't feel like cooking.
Got A-Deck folk Eth & Cricket interested possibly in LiveJournal... Eth emailed some of her paintings yesterday - good stuff, especially her self portrait.
Got nice email from Sib who has been offline a while hence havent heard from her in a while.
Tonight - really need to relax but whether to chill at home or got to the pub quiz with the guys in the house I don't know. I know when I'm this tired I really have to watch out.
