new songs album - Out Of The Blue

My new songs album Out Of The Blue arrived JUST as I was leaving for the UK Filk Con.
It's quite a mellow album with songs new and some I wrote 20 years ago.
I hadn't really planned on doing a songs album just now - but I had a virus for a couple of weeks before xmas and the only thing constructive I felt like doing was lay down some guitar parts for some songs. Then the album just seemed to follow. Despite the different origins of the songs it all seemed to fit together nicely as I went along. I was  abit blue over xmas and new year and it was a good distraction recording it, and i found when I finished the album I wasn't blue anymore...
