a tough weekend - our chum Robbie Murphy's funeral - half of Leicester's music scene was there. His son Owen gave such a great and moving and funny speech - amazing lad. Everyone was still a bit stunned as it had only been a week since he died.
Then Govannen had to leave the post funeral gathering to play a wedding ceilidh at Barnsdale Hall - a nice do with nice people and music was actually good medicine for us.
The next night we were playing another wedding ceilidh near Oundle which also went well. but we were feeling pretty tired at the end of the night and I wasnlt up to much on the Sunday...
