Archbishop Desmond Tutu

Went to see Archbishop Desmond Tutu come to speak at Leicester University. He spoke quietly - almost at a whisper at times for dramatic effect - and with a very strong anti-homophobic message equating sexual orientation equality to race and gender struggles. He aslo hoped the church would have women bishops which got a big round of applause. "When God said love one another it didn't come with terms and conditions."
A good hippy philosophy speech all round. Amazing at 81.
