Harmuni 4 Filk Con

Harmuni 4 Filk Con was most pleasant - great to see my filk chums again, tho it seemed less of a relaxacon this time with planty to do. I was in an Instaband  - an accapella quartet ("Bam Glop & The Vom Glips") with Hitch, Songbird & Nat and we sang Zander Nyrond's Wassaliens - I sang bass which seemed to surprise some folks. Always wanted sing this song.

I caught sets by Playing Rapunzel, Valerie H, Juliana H, Sib, and most of the main concert. I also got a chance for nice longer catch-up chats with Ju, Hitch, Roger, Sib, Bardling & Mich amongst others.

I played a mini-set in the sister convention Constitution's cabaret - a theremin demonstration and Lifespell on kalimba. Other songs I sang in main concert and circle were ones I don't sing often eg Time Will Tell, & Sunrise.

It was my first wi-fi'd con with my ipod - which was handy handling some work messages but also messing about on Facebook across the filk circle aith Marilisa & Mich. ("sing something!!!")

Only annoyance for me were 2 nights of very little sleep - 1st night caused by lots of nightmares and buzzy brain (all that talking perhaps), and 2nd night bad indigestion (don't think i can eat pees anymore), which made me fairly zombie-like by day, needing to go back to room to catch naps. Need a few god nights now to catch up.

Tonight's jazz gig at Dos Hermanos was quiet which suited my tired brain...
