Well I kinda did some work.
Kate48 rang from Sweden - she's back on Sat. Nice to hear her.

I did a press release or two for the albums and launch - that was it really... So hard to think again ways of saying how wonderful my music is in a short pithy way YET again. Cue stock phrases multi-instrumental wizard, make sure to mention Peter Tork, etc etc...

Then I went to the shop where Dan works - he needed some of our CDs to take to Germany - he's playing there with big Neil in Steve Cartwright's band - 5 gigs in 3 days around the Minden area - my old haunt.
Dan was playing at the Musician tonight with his rock band so feeling a bit twitchy I figured I'd pop down there.

Roger Pugh popped round for some more flyers so I agreed to take him to the thing tonight. It was a promo night for the studio where I did some mastering, featuring bands that've recorded there.

Dan's band were fine as usual tho I prefer him acoustic and the stuff he plays with me - but I would say that wouldn't I? - none of the other music really grabbed me, except it was nice to hear Sally Barker again. Lots of perfectly competant mostly acoustic acts. However as I'm not up with many new mainstream bands - eg Travis, Coldplay etc, so I don't really get the references/context.
Mostly chatted with old usual reprobates.

Good to get out and see folks
Now I'm home and a bit nothingy...

Maybe need some magical music or possibly some sci-fi to take me there. Maybe some Lexx b4 bed.

Or early bed and book & music. I'm on a couple of stunners at the moment - I'm reading the one remaining unread Charles Harness novel :-(. - Krono - I'm eaking it out slowly. He is the best.
My paperback is Arachne by Lisa Mason who is a newish writer to me - she's good tho - I loved her "Summer of Love".

Yes book bed and music is is - something spicey - Stockhausen's Sternklang is a bedtime fave - mad but mellow...We shall see...
