A day when a lot of boring stuff got done.
Roger Pugh (singer/mandola and by day a jester) came round - I made posters, flyers and press releases for our little gig in a few weeks time.
Andy the sax wanted some jazz duo promo CDrs running off so I did that too.
Then bank, paying bill and food shopping...

Then it was time to eat a little whilst watching Trek (Enterprise and TNG !) then go off to play with Andy the sax at our regular gig at the Mexican Restaurant - The Cactus Cafe - in Loughborough.
Pretty routine - nice response from diners actually (often we are ignored - this time ripples of applause came after reach number - a rarity.)
Hot and muggy.

Hope I can get on with my stuff tomorrow

You know, part of me envies you having so much time to meet people & do music-related things in, but otoh I bet it's not easy to make a living... *hugs* I sure find it interesting to read about all the networking-type things you do and the loads of different people you play with...

networking is a nice way of puitting it - hug
To me it's just hipy muso's wanting me to do stuff.
As for making a living - my overheads are low and a piano job can pay £75-100
So a couple of those and I'm happy for the week. Then there;s other stuff here and there.
